Golf Performance
Brien Shamp’s Golf Performance Program is comprehensive training and conditioning that enhances the golfers overall performance and success.
Brien’s Comprehensive Golf Evaluation is a thorough assessment of posture, flexibility, mobility, coordination, skill, breathing, strength, endurance, power, gait, balance, stability, body composition and movement analysis. It serves as a baseline for the athlete. An analysis of this baseline, in conjunction with the golfers goals, will then be used to design a unique, safe and effective program specific to the individual.
The depth of these customized programs is similar to the programs used by professional golfers.
Every Golf Performance Program Includes:
- A structured, corrective and golf specific, flexibility & strength program based on the evaluation and personal goals.
- A customized approach to performance.
- Lifestyle and nutrition recommendations.
Brien Shamp works with the physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors, golf pros and the golfer to ensure the golfer competes at their highest potential and all while avoiding injury in the process.
“18 months ago I began working with Brien Shamp. I reduced my total body weight by 15 pounds and body fat by 5%. I use to hit drives 230 to 250 yards. I now average 275 yards, and I have often have 1-2, 300 yard drives per round (I am seldom out hit on distance, even if I slice). I hit my irons 1.5 club lengths longer; an 8 iron was my 140 yard club, now it’s my 150-155 yard club. I sometimes feel I can hit like the pros.
Just last week I played with 3 strangers at a public course, all younger than me. At the 16th hole they were all whining about fatigue, sore and stiff shoulders muscles…I just laughed and pared the last two holes against their double boggies…I was in shape to play the game, thanks to Brien. Now, I just have to find time to play more and get to the range on a regular basis.”
